Қарағанды көркемөнер шеберханасы мүсіндерді қоладан құюға мемлекеттік тапсырыс алды. Кешенді құруға екі негізгі бас мердігер ұйым белсенді қатысты. Олар: «Проект Строй Комплекс» ЖАҚ және «Абис-Атырау» ЖШС. Бұл кешеннің авторлары - сәулетшілер Бөкебай Саматбек Тәженұлы, Тайталиев Бақтыбай Халықұлы; мүсіншілер Әбішев Бақыт және Сергебаев Ескен болды. Композицияның негізі 3 сатылы стилобаттан тұрады және көрермендер мінбері ретінде қолданылады. Стилобат толығымен гранитпен қапталған. Монументтің жалпы биіктігі 11,1 м. Монументтің артқы жағында 9 метрлік «Қорған» деп аталатын бөлігінде «Еділ-Жайық» барельефі қоладан құйылған (14х2,8 м). Жалпы демалыс алаңының аумағы 4,8 гектар жерді алып жатыр.
2018-2019 жылдары Махамбет пен Исатай сәулеттік-мемориалдық кешеніне қайта қалпына келтіру жұмыстар жүргізілді. Алаңда алты бассейн және субұрқақ орнатылды. Мраморлық домбыра түріндегі архитектуралық композиция бар. Алаң – қаланың көрнекті орындарының бірі болып саналады.

Исторические данные: 14 сентября 2003 года состоялось открытие архитектурно-мемориального комплекса «Исатай-Махамбет». Архитектурно-мемориальный комплекс «Исатай-Махамбет» расположен в центре города. Государственный заказ на литье из бронзы скульптур получила Карагандинская художественная мастерская. В создании комплекса приняли активное участие две основные генеральные подрядные организации. Это ЗАО «Проект Строй Комплекс» и ТОО «Абис-Атырау». Авторами данного комплекса являются архитекторы Бокебай Саматбек Таженулы, Тайталиев Бахтыбай Халыкович; скульпторы Абишев Бакыт и Сергебаев Ескен. Этот комплекс был награжден золотым дипломом Международного фестиваля в Москве и на Международной архитектурной выставке во Флоренции. Авторам удалось выразить в скульптуре мечту о свободе. Автором концепции и идеологом данного проекта стал государственный и политический деятель Имангали Тасмагамбетов.
Описание памятника: Монумент представляет, из себя двух фигурную конную композицию, отлитую в бронзе, каждая высотой 5,1 м, воздвигнутую на 2 м постаменте. Основанием композиции служит 3-х ступенчатый стилобат, который является одновременно зрительной трибуной. Стилобат полностью облицован гранитом. Общая высота монумента со стилобатом 11,1 м. На тыльной стороне монумента, установленная усеченная сфера «Курган» высотой 9 м. На срезе «Кургана» размещен был барельеф из бронзы «Волга-Урал» размером 14х2,8 м, символизирующий единство Махамбета и Исатая с народом. Общая площадь зоны отдыха составляет 4,8 га.
В 2018-2019 годах проведена реконструкция архитектурно-мемориального комплекса Махамбет и Исатай. На площади установлено шесть бассейнов и фонтан. Есть архитектурная композиция в виде мраморной домбры. Площадь - одна из достопримечательностей города.

Historical data: On September 14, 2003, the “Isatay-Makhambet” architectural and memorial complex was unveiled. The architectural and memorial complex "Isatay-Makhambet" is located on the diagonal between the mosque and the Uspenskycathedral. The state order for casting bronze sculptures was received by the Karaganda art workshop. Two main general contractors, which won the construction tender, took an active part in the creation of the complex. These are “Proekt Stroy Complex” CJSC and “Abis-Atyrau” LLP. The authors of this complex are architects Bokebay Samatbek Tazhenuly, Taitaliyev Bakhtybai Khalykovich; sculptors Abishev Bakyt and Sergebayev Yesken. This complex was awarded a gold diploma at the International Festival in Moscow and at the International Architectural Exhibition in Florence. The author managed to express the dream of freedom in sculpture. Imangali Tasmagambetov became the author of the concept and ideologist of this project.
Description of the monument: A two-figure monument of Makhambet and Isatay, cast in bronze, is installed on a granite-faced podium near the mound. A landscape park with 200 blue spruces and more than 5 thousand roses was laid out near the complex. Decorated retaining walls, multi-colored paving slabs, benches, flower beds, lawns and trees, illuminated by a variety of different lamps, emphasize the main idea of the artistic and compositional construction of the complex. The memorial united the city park, the central square, the resting place, and the architectural monument. Two magnificent horses carry their great riders to meet the challenges prepared for them. And behind the riders rises a huge steppe sun, heralding a new day, a new era. Alley "Ak-Zhol", executed in light gray tones, symbolizes the bright path of our people, and 16 stones located on the sides, in the form of arrowheads with poems by Makhambet. In addition to the large central fountain, there are several small islands of coziness and comfort on the square, where you can have a pleasant rest near the water. The sun's rays are made in the form of spears flying upwards. These spears are like a reminder to the descendants of the hard struggle that the Kazakh people waged in defending their independence. The ensemble, which is a hill on which Makhambet and Isatayride hot horses, peering into the distance, occupies 2 hectares. The diameter of the upper part of the hill, made in the form of a circle, is 20 m. The idea of creating a museum-diorama, which is located at the base of the hill, is embodied in the architects' idea. The back of the ensemble is an open-air amphitheater and landscaped park. The decoration of the ensemble is a 100 m alley from the foot of the hill along the territory of the mosque, framed on both sides by an enfilade of poems by Makhambet on granite slabs and cascades of fountains. The main detail in it will be two steles 4.25 m high each. There are nine fountains. The complex covers an area of 4.8 hectares. The length of the alley is 2.04 m.
The monument is a two-figured equestrian composition cast in bronze, each 5.1 meters high, erected on a two-meter pedestal. The composition is based on a 3-step stylobate, which is at the same time a visual stand. The stylobate is completely faced with granite. The total height of the monument with the stylobate is 11.1 m. On the back side of the monument there is a truncated sphere "Kurgan" with a height of 9 m. A bas-relief "KhalykZholy"made of bronze measuring 14x2.8 mis placed on the section of the “Kurgan”, symbolizing the unity of Makhambet and Isatay with the people. To climb to the monument and the bas-relief, three flights of stairs were built - the main flight and two side ones, faced with gray and light gray granite. On both sides of the alley, 16 granite installations 1.7 m high in the form of an "arrow" and with poems by Makhambet arelocated in enfilade order. The alley ends with a central fountain with a diameter of 7 m.In the parterre plane of the alley there are mini corners of rest.
